Anita Sarkeesian has been a Canadian and American feminist media critic for more than 20 years. She's also an accomplished public speaker. Feminist Frequency was established by Sarkeesian. It hosts video clips which include commentary on the representations of women that are prevalent in the media and popular culture of today. Sarkeesian holds a bachelor's degree in social thought and politics from York University. She is also an internationally acclaimed public speaking. She was not deterred by the assault, in fact it only reinforced her determination to be an expert on media and feminism.
